People with curly hair want straight hair. People with straight hair yearn for some bounce and curl. People with thin hair wish it was fuller, thicker. And, of-course, those who have an abundance of thick hair, long for lighter, thinner hair. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence it seems.
It's not only desiring what you do not have that causes men and women with thick hair to desire to decrease their tresses. Thicker hair can be quite difficult to manage. Not only is it a lot more likely to tangle, it also carries a lot of weight. The extra weight can make styling an effort, but it may also trigger headaches and other problems. A lot of women complain of hair headaches after wearing ponytails or up-do's as a consequence of the weight of their thick hair.
